The peaceful man said "Follow me...
There's a perfect world for all to see!"
The people gathered, laughed aloud
And hate oozed from the troubled crowd
"Why do you all not see as I?
The sun, the trees, the sea, the sky!"
The crowd filled up their hands with stones
Then raised their hands to throw
"Why is it you all doubt your eyes...
And cover truth with all your lies...
Do you not see that man is free to do what he may please?"
The stones were thrown and brought the peaceful man down to his knees
The angry crowd then walked away...
So dumb they had no words to say
And all because they could not see
That sheep they'd always be
