They Jam a lot.

The don’t Give a jot
They Live a-Blot
They’re Often shot
They Haven’t got.
Bad People
Smoking Pot
Shout A lot
With Junk besot
Been Here since dot
Bad People.

About This Blog

This blog has been established to allow poets based in the beautiful Islands of the Bailiwick of Guernsey to publish their work.

Guernsey Poets is not a formal group; it is a coalition of a number of groups and individuals who wish to share and enjoy the written word.

It is hoped that this blog will encourage local poets of all ages to post their work for others to enjoy. The blog will also publish information which is of interest to poets and songwriters in the Bailiwick.

Guernsey Poets hope that you enjoy reading the poems on the blog and if you are an Islander, or an Islander in exile, please feel free to submit your work.
