Together, for the first time in cold December
Christmas carols, decorations and snowy weather
like children again, a magical time
because we were together.
Together, the precious years we spent
it seemed they'd go on for ever
the joys, the hard times, the laughter and tears
we were so strong together.
But now, for me, it's all grey and empty
it's meaningless now, forever
nothing's important, nothing is real,
nothing now can be together.
